Brooklyn 2 years old.... Ayden 6 months old

Gotta love those little butt cheeks!!
Just look at those ears!! Poor little guy... hopefully his hair will start growing soon to cover them up a little bit!
A little sisterly love!! He is almost as big as she is.
Here is our little Brooklyn... she is as spunky as they come!!
This picture only took about an hour to take as Ayden still has a rolly polly butt and keep falling over!!

At this point in time Ayden is now 7 months old. He is working very hard on crawling and sitting up. His favorite things to do are eat 24/7, laugh, and try to steal his big sister's toys. He idolizes Brooklyn. She is often the only thing that can make him happy when he is sad.

Brooklyn is now almost 2 1/2 years old. She loves to clean everything!! I have no idea where she got the cleaning thing from as everyone knows that her mom hates to clean. She loves to care for her babies and sing!! She loves her baby brother and makes sure to tell us if he is sad. She often times will try to change his diaper while no one is around. There has been a few occasions where i have come into the room and Ayden is lying on the ground butt naked and laughing hysterically.

We may possibly be moving in to yet another house. Cliff's parents have found a house (for them) with a lot of property around it. They have always wanted to have more land because Sandy ( cliff's mom) grew up on a farm. If they end up moving we will move into their old house and rent ours out. It will be very nice if this happens because then Ayden can finally have his own room. He has been sleeping in his swing next to our bed since he came home from the hospital.

Happy 2nd Birthday Brooklyn

Where does the time go? It just seems like yesterday that she came home from the hospital. Now I am dealing with a moody 2 year old!! Some days all she wants to do is snuggle and give hugs. Other days all she does is whine and throw tantrums!!

This year Brooklyn didn't have a huge party because we were on the airplane coming home from Mexico on her Birthday. We had a small party at Nana and Papa's house. She got an M&M machine (this will be used later as a potty training tool) and a pink tricycle. She is still a little small for the tricycle, but she had a blast pushing Ayden around in it. Ayden was cracking up the entire time!!

I would also like to appologize for Brooklyn never having both a shirt and shorts on at the same time. She is the dirtiest little girl in the world!!

I love being outside!!!

Why is it that when Brooklyn was younger i could get her to smile and look at the camera every single time and now she turns her head, makes a funny face or runs away? Now that i've been off work for a while we like to spend lots of time outside. Brooklyn really likes to play in pea gravel instead of swinging or going down the slide when we go to any park. We are thinking about making her a pea gravel box instead of a sand box in the back yard. I'm not sure if she knows she is a girl sometimes. She would rather be dirty and make messes. We do catch her playing with her "pretties" once in a while but not very often.

We bought her a turtle sand box the other day that she absolutely loves. We can't keep her away from it. She really likes to bring scoops of sand to us and tries to bring it inside when we are not looking. We now have sand everywhere. Everyone knows how much i like to clean and now i have to sweep 2-3 times a day!! If it keeps her entertained and not throwing tantrums than i guess i can just keep cleaning in circles around her.

This is her white trash swimming pool. Brooklyn will climb into any container of water no matter how big or small it is. She just loves to be dirty, wet and outside!!

Getting Bigger

Ayden went in for his 2 month check May 21 on he is 10 pounds and 21 inches. I don't think that Brooklyn weighed that untill she was 3-4 months old!! He is very smiley and is starting to make lots of cute noises. Brooklyn still loves him and has to make sure he always has a blankie and a pacifier..... even if he really doesn't want it. He is looking more and more like Cliff everyday. Dang it!! I would really like at least one kid to look like me a little bit. Ayden does have bright blue eyes and stick out ears. I believe those features come from the Bean side!!

My first fishey!!!

I have been asking for a kitty for a long time now but mommy keeps telling me no. She finally agreed to get me some fishies instead!! I have had them for about 3 weeks now. Daddy broke the fish bowl and now they are living in a glass vase of mommy's. Daddy went to Las Vegas for a couple of days with my uncle Brian and mommy killed off two of my fishies. Now I only have 2 goldfish and one sucker fish left. I hope my mommy doesn't kill anymore of them. I really like to sit on the counter and watch them eat food. Sometimes i even like to give them pringle snacks!! Maybe one day mommy will let me have a kitty that i can actually play with instead of just watching it!!

Sisterly love!!!

I was worried sick about how my very spoiled daughter was going to react to having a baby brother, but she loves him. Maybe a little too much!! She is a very big help with throwing diapers away, making sure he has blankets over his head, shoving pacifiers/bottles in his mouth, putting stickers on his head, taking his socks off immediatly after getting them on, and giving him fishey crackers when mom is not looking. I hope we get into a routine here pretty quick because not only is Ayden not sleeping through the night but now Brooklyn has decieded that sleeping is no longer a good idea. She was doing awesome before Ayden arrived but now she likes to lay in her crib and play during naps and wakes up for about 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. We don't get moving the next day until about 9 or 10!! Well gotta go Brooklyn is being a little too quiet!!
