I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas!!!
We ended up having a very white Christmas. There was about a foot of snow on the ground by the end of the day. Brooklyn had a really good Christmas this year. She was spoiled rotten and recieved soo many fun toys. One of her favorite toys is a dinosaur ball pit that you sit inside of. She was soo excited when we gave it to her that she dove inside and started swimming in the balls. Another favorite toy is her Winnie the Pooh car that she honks the horn repeatedly on annoying anyone within earshot.
We ended the day at the ER as Cliff ended up getting pneumonia. He didn't feel that he needed to go to the ER but he was forced by me(his wife) and his dad. We were there for about 4 hours. The doctor felt he needed to run every possible test because of an abnormal chest x-ray that was taken. There was a mass that showed up and the doctor was unclear of what it was. After waiting another 2 hours for a CT scan we found out that everything was normal and Cliff ended up leaving the ER with pain meds and an inhaler and that was it. Thank heaven nothing else was wrong!!
All and all it was a very good Christmas! We are very thankful for all the wonderful gifts we recieved and for all the time we could spend with both sides of the family this year!!

Baby Boy

We are so excited to announce that we are going to have a little baby boy!!! We just found out last Monday and we are super excited. It is going to be sooo much fun having both a boy and a girl. I can't wait to coach football (he has no choice he is playing). Krista is doing good, other than always being tired and getting ginormous! :) Brooklyn is also very excited. She is enfatuated with moms belly and inside out button. She has started kissing her belly and saying baby (it is wicked cute!!!). We can't wait to see all of you who are venturing out to Carson next week. Hope all is well.

Don't worry everyone is ok!!
Just to let everyone know Cliff got in a car accident with Brooklyn and the dogs in the car. The only one hurt is Cliff. No broken bones or anything. Just soreness and a few cuts. It happened on Wednesday November 7th, 2007. Cliff was going to take the dogs for a walk at this lake by our house when a cop car pulled behind him, lights and sirens blaring, so he pulled to the left to get out of the way of the cop car when "wham!!" he was struck by a truck who didn't see what was going on. Brooklyn was very brave and the only thing that happened to her is that she threw up. Brooke didn't have a single cut or bruise. By the time i got home from work a few hours later she was pushing a box around the kitchen laughing!! I often think there is an angel looking out for Brooklyn. Sometimes I will catch her staring at the wall or looking off into space laughing hysterically. Cliff probably had some sort of mild concussion but he was too worried about the dogs and Brooklyn to take care of himself. Just thought everyone would like to know this happened and that everyone is ok!!

2 little piggies and a sprout
Brooklyn has finally let us start doing her hair. She fights mama while she does it, but she is really good for dada. She will fight anything that mama does.... changing diapers.... putting clothes on... anything!! She is a perfect angel for dada and a little devil for me. It's not fair!! The only thing she doesn't fight me on it snuggling before bed and putting her to sleep.

16 weeks along
We just thought you guys would enjoy seeing a picture of how big my belly is getting soo far. We will be finding out what we are having on November 26th. With our luck it will be a boy because everything we own is pink or purple!! I can't believe how fast pregnancy goes the second time around. There is no time to be tired or feel sick. We just received the results from the quad-screening and they are negative... so far so good!! Baby seems to be healthy!!

We were planning on going to a real pumpkin patch this year but ended up at this church by my work. I really don't think Brooklyn will ever know the difference!! Brooke thought that sitting in the hay and throwing it at us was the best part of the whole thing. She was also very excited to see all of the "ball-balls"(Pumpkins). The entire time we were there she was saying "ooooohhh... ball ball.....ooooohhhh.... ball ball." Brooklyn is obsessed with balls of any shape or size. We can't walk through an old navy without buying her a ball!! We have been trying to buy her girly toys and stuffed animals but she wants nothing to do with them and goes straight to the balls. Anyway we had the most perfect pumpkin picked out for Brooklyn, but when we went to go pay for it we realized that once again we were un-prepared and didn't bring any cash!! So we will be going back later this week to purchase the pumpkin of Brooklyn's dreams!

So we have some news for all of you. We have kept it secret for long enough. Krista is pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited! She is like 14 weeks (I'm sure that is wrong, but it is close either way). A couple weeks ago we got to see the little creature on an ultra sound. He was crazy!!! We don't know that it is he yet, but I hope if I say "he" enough it will be a boy. We don't really care what it is as long as it is healthy. Mom is feeling pretty good. She is tired, but I don't know if that is from being pregnant or because of our difficult little girl that does not like to sleep. If she only knew how awesome sleep is and how much of it she will want when she is our age. Krista is due April 14. I can't wait. I miss Brooklyn when she was that age. She was so quiet and sweet. She never yelled at me, never threw stuff at me, and I could get so much done. I know those days are gone forever, but that is ok I know how blessed we are to have her and the new little one, and good lord willing more to come. I can't wait to see everyone in December. We look forward to seeing all of you, eating SUSHI (you guys have converted me), and in & out burgers. I hope all is well.

It has been a wicked crazy week. We have been trying to break Brooklyn's horrible sleep habits. She had been getting up several times a night and screaming until we brought her into our bed (Yeah not a good idea, it just reinforces bad habits). At the time it was worth it so we could get some sleep, but then she started to think our bed meant it was play time. I'm not so playful at 4 am, so I did not think it was cute (Several times I thought about putting her in the dog crate). Thanks to some wonderful advice from Candace and her mom we are slowly gaining our sanity back. She has only been getting up once and we ignore her so she soon gets the hint and goes back to sleep ( we owe you guys huge, thanks a million). Do to the good sleep she has been in a great mood and has been a very funny girl lately. I have no idea where she comes up with some of the stuff she does. Just see the pics.

Ok so we promised that we would tell some stories about events this summer. I want to start with Brooklyn's first birthday. I cannot believe my baby girl is 1!!! We had an awesome party. We had it at a park by our house. Other than it being like hot as heck it was perfect. I have never seen so many people turn out for a birthday party. There was at least 75 people there. we has yummy food from Rib City and cake from Das Myer's (the same place that we got our wedding cake). we had a really good time. It was so nice to spend this day with our close family and friends. We wish we could have had all of our family there, but we know that you all would have been there if you could have been, Don't worry Brooklyn ate cake for all of you. We want to thank everyone for all the presents (We can hardly walk in her room). Speaking of that, who ever gave her the talking/singing dog I'm going to get your kid a drum set :). It was a great day, I wish all of you could have been there. That's it for now, but I will make sure we blog again soon. Love you guys!!!
ps. Candace, Krista wanted to edit this post and thank you for the present.

Sorry Candace that we have not blogged soon enough for you :)
I know we have been slacking, but I have been crazy busy studing for a microbiology test. I took the test last night and I swear my teacher speaks a foreign language. It was really hard. but I studied a ton so I'm sure I did good (is that a good enough excuse for you Candace? I see that you have been slacking too, what is your excuse?). This week has been very long. Brooklyn is not sleeping very good. She has been getting up between 2 and 4 thinking it is time to play. When Krista and I tell her she should be sleeping she usually throws something at us and laughs (not so funny). We think she is popping some new teeth, if not and this keeps up does anyone want a baby girl :)? We love her to death but it wicked difficult not getting any sleep. This weekend we celebrated Danny's 16th B-Day. My parents had a really nice party for him on Saturday, It is so scary that he is now driving. At least he is not a dumby like his older brother and is a really good driver. Also speaking of Danny we are so proud of him!!! He is only a sophomore, but he will be starting as the varsity full back this week (you are the man D!!!). Last week He helped his team when a really close game against the #1 team in the league (not anymore) with a 7 yard reception and a huge block that allowed the QB to throw the winning touchdown. Krista and I are doing good. We are just working super hard and trying to keep up with our little girl.

Hi Everyone,
So we are finally getting this started. We figured if didn't Candace would come all the way out to Colorado to kick are butts. We are new at this whole blogging thing, but we think it is great idea so we all can keep in touch and up to date on current event in everyone's lives (since we know how good we all are at picking up the phone :). Where to start. Well i guess I will start with the most important subject our little princess Brooklyn. Brooklyn is doing very good. She is now 15 months, popping teeth, crawling everywhere and trying to figure out the whole walking thing. She has started to take a couple small steps. We are starting to think at this point she thinks the whole walking thing is overrated, especially with all the people she has wrapped around her finger that will carry her. Oh and she thinks she is a puppy. She does not give kisses, she gives licks, she also pants and eats her food off the tray or ground using only her mouth (we are so proud). I guess thats what happens when your nana has an entire heard of dogs and you have 2 of your own. The photo off to the right was taken a couple months ago at Kiddie Kandids. It won an award with the for picture of the month. This means her picture is displayed in all 187 stores nationwide and on their flyer's. We were very excited. Thank God she got her beauty from her mom. As for Krista and I we are super busy. Krista still works at the same doctor office and in her spare time she is the best mother and wife in the world. As for me I'm still working for the Arvada police department (yuck!!!), still going to school (I figure I might finish before Brooklyn if I'm Lucky), I still love to do Jiu-Jitsu (although I do not get to go as much as I would like), and most important I do my best to be a good father and husband. So I think I rambled for long enough this time, but I promise we will post some more pics and stories from our summer. We love you guys and miss you all. God bless.
